Pony Express Route

A little longer than the Greenhorn, the Pony Express is the easy next step up. Just under 8 miles of open road and rolling country, breezy enough for a relaxed morning but with a touch more under your legs. A good pick for the rider who’s ready for a bit more without taking on the climbs.
DIRECTIONS
Start at Breckenridge City Park on Old Caddo Ave. and turn left onto Walker Street (Hwy 180 West). Ride through downtown and turn left onto Sunset Blvd. (you will see Sonic on your right).
At Elliott Street, turn right. At the stop sign, turn left onto FM 224 (Post Oak Road) and ride south for 1.5 miles. At FM 2231, turn left and ride east for 1.5 miles.
At Hwy 183, turn left and ride north for 1.5 miles back towards Breckenridge. At Elliott Street, turn right and ride .4 miles to Old Caddo Ave. Turn left onto Old Caddo Ave. to finish line.
