Top Hand Route
31.62 miles
On a ranch, the top hand is the most trusted, most capable rider in the outfit, and this route earns the name. At just over 31 miles of rolling terrain, it’s a serious ride for experienced cyclists. Take this one if you’ve got strong legs and you’re saving the full 59 for another day.
DIRECTIONS
Start at Breckenridge City Park on Old Caddo Ave. and turn left onto Walker Street (Hwy 180 West). Ride through downtown and turn left onto to Sunset Blvd. (you will see Sonic on your right). At Elliott Street, turn right.
At the stop sign, turn left onto FM 224 (Post Oak Road) and ride south for 1.5 miles. At FM 2231, turn right and ride west for 1.5 miles. At FM 3418, turn left and ride south for 4.25 miles. At FM 576, turn left and ride east for 3 miles.
At Hwy 183, turn right and ride south for .7 miles. At FM 576, turn left and ride east for 7.1 miles. At FM 207, turn left and ride north for 7.7 miles. At Hwy 180, turn left and ride west for 4 miles back towards Breckenridge.
Turn left onto Old Caddo Ave. (Park entrance) to finish line.
